Pizza Making Tips
You don’t need any fancy equipment or cooking skills to make great pizza, but there are a few things that can help you out:
A pizza stone is the best way to cook your pizza, as it’s made of porous ceramic material, that keeps the dough dry as it bakes. These also hold heat to keep the pizza at a very even temperature and result in a classic pizza crust. Alternatively, use a preheated tray made of very durable material.
The key to a perfectly cooked pizza with a crisp base is to have your oven incredibly hot. Heat your oven to its hottest setting before you add the pizza for the best results. However, don’t stray too far from the oven as at these temperatures it’ll be done in a matter of minutes.
Use either a sharp knife, wheel pizza cutter or rocker knife to cut your pizza into slices after it comes out of the oven. Serve it while hot and watch it disappear faster than you can say ‘hey presto!’
